So Many Options

I have been in the wedding business since 1983, by now I laugh saying I could write a book on the things NOT to do. It has been a labor of love to help each of my brides and I love every minute of it. In my blogs maybe I can pass along a good tip, inspire with an idea, and hopefully keep away any disasters.

So many of the brides I have worked with have in may ways wanted to help with some of the decorations they have decided to use on their special day.  Reception table decorations are very simple to do if the bride wants to add her own flair to her wedding.

There are so many options to choose from depending on your wedding theme or the place of venue.  From simple flowers used at an outside wedding at a family barn to less flowers and more candles at the church you grew up in, to a more elaborate affair.

It all comes down to sitting down planning out the look, feel and price range. When working with your venue at a larger location, please read all the guide lines your given at your first meeting. Ask questions and talk about some of what you may be want to do yourself ( like if your wanting to make the arrangements for tables ).  If it is your best friends barn or your own church there are many decorations you can make. Hotels usually include arrangements in certain areas, and maybe you can bring down the price if your will to make the arrangements yourself or order from your local craft or florist.
